The champions of the following contests will pre-qualify directly for the final in December and do not need to participate in the preliminary in 8th October.
1. AIS3 Challenges
2. TrendMicro CTF (Nov.19~20 )
3. Smart Grid Hacking Competitions
The top ten winning teams from the qualification round are invited to participate in the on-site CTF Finals.
The Attack and Defense format competition will see the world’s best teams competing for the 2016 HITCON CTF Championship.
Moreover, the Champion team will be entitled for the 2017 DEF CON CTF.
This is a match of the masters, definitely not to be missed!
1st place: $10,000 USD
2nd place: $5,000 USD
3rd place: $2,000 USD
Special award for Top 1 Taiwan team: $1,000 USD
