There is a lot of broken challenges like the dj and the one with an mp3 flag stego in it and the morse one , but it's okey it was a good ctf and a beginner friendly one , i hope that it get better next time , thanks for all admins
Wrong schedule on ctftime with a arbitrary duration reduction , random guessy challs and broken challs. I expected more from this CTF to be honest
I've been doing CTFs for years and this is single-handedly the worst CTF I've ever had the displeasure of doing. We told them about how the timers were off, and nobody knew when the actual event started. They said they'd look into it. I asked them again as the event came closer and I also called them out for plagiarising the code for the countdown timer without crediting the author. They shut me up and told me that people wouldn't care. Lo and behold, the Discord and a bunch of the other comments here on CTFtime are all complaining about how disorganized it was and how the scheduling was completely off. They'd much rather shut the users up and blame the users than own up to and fix their own mistakes.
The challenges are all unsatisfying and poorly designed. The organizers are unprofessional. I have a hard time believing that they're a "real" company because this was a complete and total clusterfuck from start to end. I sincerely hope that they refrain from trying this again in the future because never in all my years of competing in CTFs have I been so utterly and thoroughly disgusted by a single event.
Bad CTF and toxic admin
Commenting below to mention again that yes a lot of challenges have been plagarised and broken. Also the admins called off the ctf early as no one was solving the challenges. Is this a valid reason. I mean if you host some event and nobody solves it within the next 5-10 mins should the challenges go down?
