SummitCTF is an annual Capture the Flag (CTF) competition hosted by the Cybersecurity Club at Virginia Tech (CyberVT). The next competition will have two attached events: One virtual open to all participants and one in person on the Virginia Tech Campus.
The virtual event will take place April 12th 2025 10am EST to April 13th 2025 10am EST. It will be a normal jeopardy style ctf with a unique pentesting based category.
The in person event will take place on April 13th 2025 after the conclusion of the virtual event. It will be an Attack/Defense Castle style competition where teams compete to both defend/patch their machines and attack other identical machines controlled by other teams.
There will be prizes for both events: expect vouchers, courses, merch, and more.
